Mark Tory

Mark Tory is a Chartered Accountant with over thirty five years of professional experience in the mining industry and accounting professions.

Mark was CEO at Northern Minerals Limited (a heavy rare earth mining and exploration company) for 2 and a half years after seven and a half years as CFO. Prior to Northern Minerals, Mark worked at Crescent Gold Limited as Managing Director following on from his role there as CFO. Prior to Crescent, Mark worked eight years with Anglo American Exploration, the last four as Vice President of Finance responsible for global exploration for copper, nickel, zinc.

At Northern Minerals, Mark was heavily involved in the planning, construction and operating of a pilot plant at site in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. He has also been involved in multiple exploration programs at Northern Minerals, Crescent Gold, Anglo American and Homestake. Mark was also an invited member of Minister Johnson’s Battery and Critical Minerals taskforce. Mark has been part of capital raisings at both Northern and Crescent that have raised over $150 million from across the globe.

In addition to his accounting qualifications, Mark has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia Graduate School of Management and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
