Sustainability

ChemX Materials is committed to being a responsible and sustainable supplier of high purity alumina to the clean energy and advanced technology markets.

ChemX Materials is developing an innovative technology to produce high purity alumina, HiPurA®. The HiPurA® process flowsheet is set to change the way in which high purity alumina is produced. Operating mostly at ambient temperature, HiPurA® is less energy intensive than some alternative processes used to produce high purity alumina globally. Therefore, the final high purity alumina product has a lower carbon footprint which translates directly into reducing the overall carbon intensity of the end use application.

Stakeholders

ChemX Materials is developing HiPurA®, an innovative processing technology to produce high-purity alumina (HPA). ChemX Materials owns 100% of this process which is protected under an Australian patent.
