About Us

Company Overview

ChemX Materials (ASX:CMX) is an ASX-listed critical materials company developing innovative processing technology to produce high purity alumina (HPA) for advanced technology and clean energy applications.

ChemX Materials’ 100% owned, Australian patented HiPurA® process technology offers a low cost and low energy intensity production method to produce HPA of greater than 99.99% (>4N) purity.

HPA is used in everyday applications including lithium-ion batteries, LEDs, semiconductors, smart devices including mobile phones, camera lenses and laptop screens.

ChemX Materials has demonstrated HiPurA® can produce above 4N (99.99%) pure high purity alumina at Micro Plant scale. Following this success, ChemX Materials is rapidly progressing the commercialisation of the HiPurA® process through the construction of a 24tpa pilot plant that has delivered early-stage commissioning in June 2024.
